Team Strike Evo Executive office chair

The Executive version of the Team Strike Evo has a higher back with a headrest, on top of the Evo's sustainable design: 37 per cent recycled material, 76 per cent recyclable and fully dismantlable.

Armrests

None, height- and width-adjustable, or with a pivoting and sliding PU top in 2D or 4D. The 2D version is only available with the thick upholstered back.

Upholstery

The fabric group determines the price. Within a group every colour costs the same. You choose the colour after ordering; we will contact you about this. All colours per fabric group are shown with the photos, and the complete fabric chart can be downloaded: fabric chart (pdf).

What does the Martindale figure mean?

In the Martindale test a fabric sample is rubbed back and forth under a weight until wear appears. The figure is the number of rubs the fabric achieves. For a chair you sit in all day, 40,000 is the lower limit; above 100,000 is suitable for 24-hour use such as control rooms and shift work.

Differences between the materials

• Fabric is woven and breathes well. AB Xtreme Plus and CH Chili are made from recycled yarn and fit the sustainable starting point of this chair.
• Faux leather (NX, SC) is a woven backing with a coating. It wipes clean with a damp cloth, but it breathes less well than fabric.
• Wool blends (MF, CS, SY, RM) feel fuller and are less prone to pilling. At 200,000 Martindale, CS Crisp achieves the highest figure in the whole range.
• SX Box Land is grain leather from the Italian tannery Dani.
• Mesh is used in the back. RF Polo achieves 100,000 Martindale, RR Runner and RY Rhythm 70,000.

All fabrics, mesh and leathers comply with EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2, the European standard for the fire behaviour of furniture upholstery.
