Round meeting tables
At a round meeting table nobody sits at the head: everyone faces each other at an equal distance. That makes a round top ideal for short meetings, a small meeting room or a discussion corner next to the workstation. A round table also takes up less space than a rectangular table for the same number of people, and nobody bumps into a corner.
Which round table suits you?
What size do you need?
Allow about 60 to 70 cm of table edge per person for a comfortable place. A round top of 80 cm suits two people, 100 to 120 cm four people, 140 to 160 cm six and 200 cm eight people. Keep at least 80 cm clear around the table so everyone can push their chair back easily.
Frequently asked questions
How many people fit at a round table of 120 cm?
Four people sit comfortably at a round table of 120 cm. Five is possible, but it gets tight for laptops and papers.
What is the difference between legs and a column or star base?
A column or star base sits in the middle under the top. That gives you free legroom all round and lets you pull up chairs anywhere. A table with four legs is more stable in larger sizes.
Is the table delivered assembled?
Yes. We deliver and install every meeting table throughout the Netherlands, on weekdays during office hours. This is free of charge on orders from €500 (excl. VAT); below that we charge €24.95.
