Executive chairs
An executive chair is chosen on looks and judged on comfort. Pay attention to the height of the backrest — a high back supports up into the neck, which helps on long days with many conversations — and to the upholstery, because leather and fabric age differently.
From Interstuhl there are the Every EV117 and EV217 swivel armchair. From BNR the Therapod X, the Therapod X HR with a high back and the Therapod X Compact, plus the Roxx, the Venezia and the Dalia high.
If you are looking for a chair for an ordinary desk workstation, take a look at the office chairs or the ergonomic office chairs. The matching desk is under the executive desks.

What to look for when buying executive chairs?
Considering buying an executive desk chair? Then it's important to determine your requirements for a good and attractive chair. For example, consider whether or not it has a headrest and armrests, the type of material, the color, and, of course, the price.
Ergonomics
The most important thing for an executive desk chair is that it's comfortable. Do you regularly experience back pain, a tense neck, or stiff shoulders? There's a good chance these complaints are caused by an incorrect sitting posture. Therefore, choose an executive desk chair that supports an ergonomic working posture. Make sure the chair is adjustable to your body, with adjustable height, tilt, and back support.
Physique
Perhaps your physique isn't the first thing you think about when buying an executive chair. Yet, it's an important factor. A chair feels very different if you are 1.50 meters tall than if you are 2 meters tall. Your build also plays a role. Someone who is slender has different requirements for a chair than someone with a fuller physique. Therefore, choose a chair that suits your body to provide optimal support and comfort.
Color and material
Would you like a leather office chair, a synthetic leather chair, or one with breathable mesh? The material plays a major role in the appearance and seating comfort of the chair. An executive chair made of real leather offers the highest quality and the most luxurious look. On the other hand, a mesh office chair is very comfortable due to its breathable material.
You have a choice of different colors for executive desk chairs. Are you going for classic black? Or do you want a calm look with brown, beige, or grey? Or are you going for a more striking color like red or blue? We have various colors in our assortment. Don't see your perfect color? Feel free to contact our customer service; we'd be happy to explore the possibilities with you!
Price
Finally, the price naturally influences the choice of an executive desk chair. At BNR Kantoor, we have various chairs that suit both small and larger budgets.
Complete your executive office
Of course, your executive office isn't complete with just an executive desk chair. Also consider a beautiful executive desk. Place a display cabinet for an extra luxurious look. And make it cozy with the right lighting and perhaps some artificial plants. At BNR Kantoor, you'll find everything for a stylish office.

Frequently asked questions
What is an executive chair?
An executive chair is a luxurious, often (faux) leather chair with a stylish appearance. Compared to standard office chairs, executive chairs often offer more options. Think of a headrest and lumbar support or extra padding. Design and appearance play a major role.
What is the difference between an executive chair and a 'regular' office chair?
There are more differences between an executive chair and a standard office chair than just the name. The difference lies mainly in style, comfort, and functionality. Executive chairs are often more robust in design and made of luxurious materials such as leather and aluminum. Regular office chairs often have fabric upholstery and a plastic base. Of course, comfort is also important. That's why executive desk chairs often have an extra-high backrest, thicker cushions, and the most important ergonomic features such as adjustable armrests.
