Team Strike Evo office chair

The Team Strike Evo is the reinterpretation of the Team Strike, with the emphasis on sustainability and a minimalist design. The chair is made with 37 per cent recycled material, is 76 per cent recyclable and is fully dismantlable and repairable.

- Air in black or white, mesh back: breathable back panel in mesh
- Air in black or white, upholstered mesh back: mesh with upholstery over it
- Black with a thick upholstered back: fully upholstered back
Armrests
None, height- and width-adjustable, or with a pivoting and sliding PU top in 2D or 4D. The 2D version is only available with the thick upholstered back.
Upholstery
The fabric group determines the price. Within a group every colour costs the same. You choose the colour after ordering; we will contact you about this. All colours per fabric group are shown with the photos, and the complete fabric chart can be downloaded: fabric chart (pdf).

What does the Martindale figure mean?
In the Martindale test a fabric sample is rubbed back and forth under a weight until wear appears. The figure is the number of rubs the fabric achieves. Below 25,000 is light domestic use, 25,000 to 40,000 normal office use, above 40,000 intensive office use and above 100,000 suitable for 24-hour use such as control rooms and shift work. A higher figure says something about wear resistance, not about how the fabric feels.
Differences between the materials
- Fabric is woven and breathes well. AB Xtreme Plus and CH Chili are made from recycled yarn and therefore fit the sustainable starting point of this chair.
- Faux leather (NX, SC) is a woven backing with a coating. It wipes clean with a damp cloth, but it breathes less well than fabric.
- Wool blends (MF, CS, SY, RM) feel fuller and are less prone to pilling than polyester. At 200,000 Martindale, CS Crisp achieves the highest figure in the whole range.
- SX Box Land is grain leather from the Italian tannery Dani.
- Mesh is used in the back. RF Polo achieves 100,000 Martindale, RR Runner and RY Rhythm 70,000.
All fabrics, mesh and leathers comply with EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2, the European standard for the fire behaviour of furniture upholstery.
