F40 meeting chair

The F40 meeting chair is a stackable chair without armrests, with an upholstered seat shell in wool felt with stitched seams. Without armrests it slides right under the table, which in a full meeting room is the difference between being able to walk past the table and having to squeeze past it.

The chair is multifunctional: it sits as comfortably in a meeting room as in a canteen or reception corner. Wool felt gives a softer, warmer impression than a plastic shell and also dampens some of the sound in a room with many hard surfaces.

Colours and base

The F40 is available in seven fabric colours: soft pink, soft blue, soft green, light brown, grey, light grey and black. For the base you choose between four legs in black or chromed — both without surcharge — or a black spider base with glides or with swivel castors. A spider base makes the chair swivel; stacking is then no longer possible. Other frame colours, fabric groups and fabric colours are available on request with a delivery time of six to eight weeks, as are plastic glides with felt for hard floors.

Upholstery

The standard upholstery is wool felt from the Fenice range: 75% wool and 25% polyamide, with a wear resistance of 100,000 rubs to Martindale. “Fenice” is the name of the fabric, not of the model — the chair itself is called the F40 and belongs to the F series, which carries the same seat shell on different bases. The black version is upholstered in Mirage. As an alternative, Regain is available, a chenille in 100% recycled polyester. Material and standards

Built from steel, polyester and polyurethane. The chair complies with NEN-EN 1335 and is made under ISO 9001; it carries GREEN TAG certification. The foam is CFC-free and PAH-free, and low-emission materials are used. Parts remain available for ten years.
