Desks & sit-stand desks

Office desks for every workplace

A desk is more than just a work surface — it's the heart of your workplace. Whether you work in an office or from home, a good desk helps determine your productivity, posture, and job satisfaction. At BNR Kantoor, we offer desks in all shapes and sizes: from compact straight desks to fully electrically adjustable sit-stand desks. All desks are carefully selected for quality, durability, and appearance.

Types of Desks

Straight Desks

Straight desks are the most classic and versatile choice. They are suitable for almost any space and work style, and available in various widths, depths, and finishes. Ideal for offices with a sleek, uniform design or for a tidy home workspace.

Sit-Stand Desks (Electric)

An electric sit-stand desk allows you to switch between sitting and standing work with the push of a button. This promotes blood circulation, reduces back pain, and increases energy and concentration. Sit-stand desks have become a standard component of a modern, healthy workplace.

Why a sit-stand desk?

Prolonged sitting is one of the biggest risk factors for back and neck pain in the workplace. A sit-stand desk offers the possibility to regularly vary your working posture. Research shows that alternating between sitting and standing increases productivity and reduces physical complaints. Combine a sit-stand desk with a good ergonomic office chair for an optimal workplace.

Buying a desk for the office or home?

Whether you're looking for a desk for the office or for your home office: at BNR Kantoor you will always find a suitable solution. We deliver and install throughout the Netherlands, so your desk is set up professionally and quickly.

Frequently asked questions about office desks

What is a good width for an office desk?

For most workplaces, a width of 140 to 160 cm is ideal. This provides enough space for a monitor, keyboard, and work materials. For more intensive workplaces with multiple screens, a width of 180 cm or more is recommended.

What is the difference between a straight desk and a sit-stand desk?

A straight desk has a fixed height and is suitable for standard sitting work. A sit-stand desk is electrically height-adjustable, allowing you to switch between sitting and standing. This is better for your health during prolonged work.
